Sandro Francisco Piedrahita is an American writer of Ecuadorian and Peruvian descent, with a degree in Comparative Literature from Yale College. His short stories usually revolve around Latin American historic or mythical themes, told with a modern twist. The attached piece tells the tale of the relationship formed between a Shining Path guerrilla and the Australian nun who is her captive. Mr. Piedrahita's short stories have been accepted for publication by The Write Launch, The Acentos Review, The Hive Avenue Literary Journal, Carmina Magazine, Faultline Journal, and Foreshadow Magazine.
